Employee surveys

Key visual employee survey

Nobel Biocare sees its employees as its most important asset and acknowledges that dialogue is critical. It is important for a company to carefully listen and take into account the concerns and suggestions of its employees.

In October 2010, 76% of Nobel Biocare employees took part in the Employee Survey 2010. This survey is part of a multi-year project that includes a series of surveys to be carried out every two years. The first global employee survey was conducted in 2008.

The purpose of the survey is to provide a feedback platform, assess the needs and benchmark Nobel Biocare against best-in-class companies. The objective is to be an employer of choice so that we attract, retain and develop the people needed to be leaders in our chosen fields and to provide an optimal working environment.

The employee survey, named "Share Your Thoughts", is more than just a statistical report; it provides the basis for concrete and measurable actions for all teams and departments.

All line managers discussed the results within their teams, identified where our results have not improved and defined measures to create the best possible working environment and thereby build a sustainable future for Nobel Biocare.

In each country an engagement champion volunteered to facilitate and drive the survey results analysis, the action planning during the engagement workshops on a country level and to leverage the success stories on a global level. Actions and the local achievements are published on Nobel Biocare's intranet.
